SPECIAL NOTICE: Special Promotion for Correspondents & Journalists

The membership of the FCC is divided into several categories.

All pay a service charge of HK$950 per month and are subject to an annual staff gratuity charge equivalent to one month's subscription.

The introductory joining fee varies according to category.

New members are approved by the Board of Governors, who adjudicate on all matters pertaining to the Club.

Categories:

• Correspondent
• Journalist
• Associate
• Corporate
• Diplomatic

Correspondent: bona-fide members of the foreign media based in Hong Kong the bulk of whose work is published outside Hong Kong
Joining Fee: HK$4,000

Journalist: bona-fide journalists based in Hong Kong who make more than 50% of their income form their locally-based journalistic activities
Joining Fee: HK$2,000

Associate: for those who are not employed in journalism or in the media yet who wish to take advantage of the FCC's unparalleled professional and social activities such categories include all professions, authors and business persons
Joining Fee: HK$10,000

Corporate: these are transferable memberships with certain restrictions. Please ask the administration for further details of the advantages.
Joining Fees: First nominee: $20,000, Second nominee $10,000, subsequent nominees $5,000

Diplomatic: approved bona fide full-time members of the Hong Kong
diplomatic corps who wish to keep in touch with Hong Kong's thriving media
community. This category of membership is transferable with certain restrictions.
Joining Fees: First nominee: $10,000, Second nominee $5,000, subsequent nominees $2,500
