The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Hong Kong has been the city’s preeminent location for decades for speeches and discussions with heads of state, ministers, authors, financiers, celebrities and many others. Our Club lunches and dinners are on the record, and many of the speakers have made news over the years. We invite speakers not only on political and economic themes all over Asia but also leaders in culture, sports and the arts. Video and sound recordings are made for each speaker or discussion panel and can be found on the FCC’s website.
The Human Rights Press Awards are run by the FCC, Amnesty International Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Journalists Association. The 24th annual awards were announced on May 6, 2020. See the winners here.
