George is the boss of all food operations at the FCC. He’s been feeding members since 2007 and, as the menu suggests, likes to cook a whole range of cuisines, from Cantonese to Continental. George is often satisfied with a coffee and a croissant.
George will deal with any questions that members have about the food, and behind the scenes he picks the best ingredients and bargains with suppliers.
George is a keen badminton player and likes to watch football on TV.
Mike has been at the FCC for 16 years, and enjoys cooking (and eating ) Japanese, western, Chinese and fast food. His favourite item on the FCC menu is Singapore Noodles. He’s a relaxed man despite the hectic job, and puts this down to living on Lamma Island.
The Human Rights Press Awards are run by the FCC, Amnesty International Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Journalists Association. The 22nd annual awards were held on May 12, 2018, in a ceremony at the FCC. Click here to find out who won.
