By popular demand, the Club is hosting an encore screening of No Ordinary Life by award-winning filmmaker Heather O’Neill. The documentary tells the story of five pioneering camerawomen who travelled the world for CNN while filming some of the most important and dangerous events of the past few decades. The documentary, which had its online world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2021, details the lives and careers of Jane Evans, Maria Fleet, Margaret Moth, Mary Rogers and Cynde Strand. Each one is a legend who braved the front lines of natural disasters and conflicts from behind their cameras, in a male-dominated field. FCC Vice President Hannamiina Tanninen will be the host of this club screening event. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
