The Correspondent, July-September 2025

The July 2025 issue covers the origins of the FCC in wartime Chungking. The Press Hostel, a precursor to the FCC, was home to foreign correspondents covering WWII who later joined together to issue a memorandum that became the foundation upon which our Club was born.

The Correspondent, April-June 2025

The April issue of The Correspondent details our anonymous survey of our Correspondent and Journalist members, which is now the third press freedom survey that we have conducted in the last four years. The results, which were also shared in a recent FCC press freedom statement, raise concerns about the working environment that our members & other media professionals face in Hong Kong.

The Correspondent, January-March 2025

The January 2025 issue of The Correspondent details the FCC’s five-and-a-half-month renovation of our Grade 1 historical building. This project, in collaboration with Blue Stone Management, renewed the building’s brickwork and roofing, giving the Club a fresh face for the year ahead.
