Britain’s Brexit future may not yet be clear but the European parliamentary elections (23-26 May) will provide fresh signs of how the potential outcomes – and their supporters – are faring in voters’ minds. British political scientist Philip Cowley, an expert election analyst, offered his thoughts on the weekend’s voting and its implications for the Brexit process.
Philip Cowley is Professor of Politics at Queen Mary University of London. He is author of a series of books on British general elections, as well as the Sex, Lies and the Ballot Box series. He has written for every major British newspaper on elections, voting and parliament.
