Hong Kong’s residential market has rebounded sharply, up nearly 10% since March. The government’s cooling measures does not appear to be working. The speaker shared his outlook of the property market and potential policy responses from the government.
Peter Churchouse is a real estate market commentator, active as an analyst and investor in Asian and global markets for over three decades. He spent over fifteen years with Morgan Stanley as Head of Asian Real Estate Research, Regional Strategist and Head of Research for Asia. He subsequently founded Asia’s first listed and physical asset real estate fund in 2004. Currently, the speaker is Chairman of Churchouse Property Partners, a Hong Kong-focused private equity real estate vehicle. He is also author of The Churchouse Letter, a monthly financial investment newsletter, and serves as a non-executive director for major listed local and mainland real estate companies.
