China has made huge technological strides over the last decade and is now challenging the US in areas where its dominance was long a given. From semiconductors to high-tech manufacturing to superfast 5G networks, the US and China are locked in a fight for technological supremacy. Placing tariffs on Chinese exports and adding Huawei and other key Chinese tech companies to its trade blacklist are just a few ways that Washington has sought to block China’s ascent. The panelists will discuss what’s at stake as the standoff deepens, exploring the growing list of what could go wrong as a tech war looms.

Panelists will include:
Stella Xi Jin is founding partner of Keytone Ventures, a China-focused venture capital firm. Keystone was founded in 2008 and invests in companies focused on mobile internet, gaming, clean tech, education and more.

ZhenFund, based in Beijing, is one of China’s best-known venture capital firms, with US$1 billion under management and a network of more than 700 portfolio companies.
