Hans Vriens, Consultant, South-East Asia expert and former FCC President, discussed where the region is heading as ASEAN celebrates its 50th anniversary. What is the significance of the ASEAN Economic Community that was established in 2015? Is ASEAN creating a genuine integrated market? Is China going to dominate the region? Vriens will examine political developments in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam and the Philippines. He will be open to questions from the floor.
