Currently embattling the fifth wave of COVID outbreak, Hong Kong seems to be in dire straits with a looming universal testing and lockdown. Salaries are cut, jobs are lost, businesses have closed, and some people are leaving. In a widely circulated letter addressed to the Chief Executive, Allan Zeman believes that confusing messages from the government are causing widespread panic in the community and real damage is being done to the society and the economy. The international reputation of the city is damaged, and the “One Country Two Systems” might disappear. The “Godfather of Lan Kwai Fong” will discuss what can be done to protect what’s left of the lives of people and businesses. Moderated by FCC President Keith Richburg. | |||||||||||||||||||||
