Topic: My platform for the 2012 Chief Executive Election
Mr. Albert HO describes Hong Kong’s core values as being his platform. He proposes to use four pillars of “democracy and freedom,” “social justice,” “economic development” and “humanistic values” on which to build social development and develop policies. He will contend that these four pillars are the correct basis for building a just Hong Kong and will provide the means to allow all residents to pursue a better life.
Mr. HO is chairman of the Democratic Party and also secretary of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements in China. Mr. HO is a practicing solicitor and member of Hong Kong’s Legislative Council.
