Passionate about cask innovation and craft, we believe in creating unique taste profiles for you to discover.
Lambay Small Batch Blend is made from a blend of grain whiskey and Lambay Single Malt Whiskey. Our craft is to find the right balance between the smoothness of the grain spirit and the complexity and richness of our Single Malt whiskey. Our grain spirit is pure, smooth and triple distilled, making it easy to sip. It is aromatic, floral and balances perfectly with our Lambay Single Malt. This blend creates a long lingering taste with enough body to deliver a whiskey that can be enjoyed straight, mixed or in a cocktail.
Like most Irish whiskeys, our spirit is matured in bourbon casks for its full maturation period before the intricate process of blending and finishing. The art of finishing is an extension of the whiskey-making process and it is here where our French Cognac Master Blender, Yonael Bernard brings a unique taste profile to our spirit. |

Aged for about 15 years in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and bourbon-seasoned casks, and then finished for about 9 months in port wine pipes (large barrels unique to making port wine.) This single malt shows its layers of flavor, juicy fruits, nuts and spice, as well as a hint of ruby redness. It’s best enjoyed neat. Okay, maybe one small cube of ice to open it up. |

Awarded ‘Best Irish Single Malt 2013’ and a rare 96 points from Whisky Advocate, it has huge depth that interweaves dried fruit flavors with spicy, aromatic maltiness, subtle nutty raisin notes, and a rich finish that seemingly never ends. |

| This Whiskey challenges the convention of what an Irish Whiskey can be, with layers of unique flavor influenced by unconventional cask maturation techniques.
Hand-selected casks of grain and malt whiskey are initially fully aged in Ex-Bourbon barrels, then married together in Central American Rum casks for up to 12 months for a unique, dried fruit profile. |

Like the nose if it weren’t for those lighter notes it would have been fairly one dimensional, so it’s a good thing they showed up to help right this otherwise sweets laden ship.
